Description of project: | Integrated Community Development Project Achham has been running smoothly since 2023 through MDO, Nepal with the financial and technical support of Good Neighbors International Nepal. The project has been working as a bridge between education, health, drinking water and sanitation, income generation, advocacy and advocacy, emergency assistance, as well as sponsors and children. |
Scaling up Climate Smart Village (CSV) for Enhanced Resilience

Description of project: | The proposed project aims to enhance community resilience by strengthening local mechanisms for the adaptation of climate-smart agriculture and the conservation of scarce natural resources. By enhancing the capacity of local stakeholders and vulnerable communities (women and smallholder farmers) for climate-smart agriculture, the proposed project will promote green, inclusive, and sustainable livelihoods in the areas highly impacted by climate change. The project will follow the “climate-smart village” approach to promote climate-adaptive agricultural practices which helps to enhance agricultural productivity and climate-related risk management in vulnerable geographical areas.
Climate Smart Village (CSV) is an approach that envisions demonstrating and scaling up Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) technologies and practices in climate-vulnerable communities to minimize the negative impacts of climate change. |
