The leadership development and Democratic citizenry process training CSOs and local representative
- ToT on TOT on Leadership development
and Democratic citizenry process training was organized by Freedom Forum at
Gaidakot and based upon the learning, the same training was conducted for
selected CSOs from 6th-9th of August in Budhiganga hotel sanfebagar Achham.
Training was organized with the objective of Institutional leadership
development in participants and the necessary knowledge, opportunity method and
process required for citizens' involvement in the local governance process and
concepts for representatives of the civil society organizations. Total of 36
CSOs representative from Sanfebagar municipality and Bannigadi Jayagdh rural
municipality had participated in the training program. The status of
satisfaction of all participants in the training was 3 or more in scale of 1-5.
The Training was facilitated by SUSASAN team and board member of MDO. There was
active participation of CSO members in training. Practice, presentation, Game, discussion method were implied for training. Also participants from local body
were in this event along with facilitation from them.
- This training was trickled down in
community level. 4 interested CSOs have organized one day orientation in
SUSASAN School at their community. All community members were oriented on the
basic knowledge on leadership development and Democratic citizenry process.
Leadership development and public engagement were mainly covered under the
content of training. Total of 64 participants were trained through event.
